Civilizations come and go along with their sciences, wisdoms, religions, architectures and secrets. What endures is life. In life, nothing stands still, everything, along with the Universe, grows in cycles or spurts; holding on to anything denies the very possibility of change and transformation. Embracing life is our opportunity; our nature is to grow with our Universe. To embrace life as ourself, unique and precious, is a reflection of Godliness. The journey of life is to find our own way; we are here to live our own Truth as a unique and essential Being; if we get caught up in someone else's concepts of dogma or belief systems, it takes us away from our Truth. To stand for Truth is a deliberate and courageous act; to stand for someone else's concept of Truth is a form of ignorance. We have the means to be ourself, and that is our trust for our lifetime. To go through this lifetime having played someone else's interpretation of a life is a ridiculous waste, but unless we find our own realization this will be our fate.

Design gives us access to the keys of our own life. It pinpoints the areas in our life where we have conscious access to our world, and where we are potentially blinded (unconscious) to the way we are. When we pay attention to those areas of our life, as shown in our Design, where we are consistent, we find an inbuilt decision making process. This process gives us our own unique, direct, and personal access to Truth. This very simple understanding provides clarity in all areas of our life.

In this article we examine the source of the Sacred: the Sacral Center, the Sex Center and the Center of Life Force energy, and its effects in providing us with clear authentic guidance to our Truth.

The Sacral, Sex, Life-force Center

. The Sacral Center is a powerhouse of energy ready to be unleashed for anything. It generates the juice which aims trees towards the sky, empowers baby birds to crack out of eggshells and enables humans to endure amazing hardships in the quest to provide for their life. It is the center which knows growth, expansion and life. It is an energy center which is common to all life forms from single cells, to reptiles, to humans. It is an energy without any awareness to guide it, it is just pure, raw power.

The Sacral Center has 9 gates through which it can be defined, turned on, and activated directly to any of five other Centers. The Sacral does not have direct access to the mind, or the Ajna and Crown Centers (if it did, we could perhaps recognize the essence of what life is), nor does it have direct access to the Heart, or the Ego/Willpower Center. (If it did, we would most likely find ourselves immortal). Through the 11 different channels connecting the Sacral Center directly to the other Centers, the various facets of expanding life are generated.

Life Force Energy with Awareness

The one definition from the Sacral Center connecting into the Emotional Center is the 59 - 6, the Channel of Intimacy. This is the channel of procreation and it deeply impacts all the channels within the Emotional Center, so that the overriding expression of Life Force energy in the emotions is that of mating and intimate contact. In times of greatest emotional expression, sexuality, repopulation and profound intimacy are the primary themes. The emotions have a potential awareness linked to the rising and falling of waves of feeling. The possibility of conscious intimacy exists in this channel, empowered by the energy of Life itself. This possibility can only be realized through an emotional, feeling maturity and a deep trust in intimacy. Intimacy with another, or intimacy with one's innermost spirit, because the Solar Plexus, Emotional Center is the gateway to Spirit consciousness.

In his Design, Albert Einstein has a defined channel of intimacy which gives him access to the deepest levels of contact with people in his life as well as with the Universe around him. With a defined Emotional Center, his clear decision making comes through being patient for his intent to align with his feeling nature. He is undefined in his Throat Center, which implies that when he speaks everyone hears exactly what they want to hear, and even though he insisted his research was for peaceful purposes, his requests were largely ignored.

On the opposite side of the Sacral Center, the defined channel 50 - 27 is the channel of Caring and Caring strategies, connecting into the Spleen, the Center of physical Health and well-being. There is also a definition into the Spleen from the top left hand corner of the Sacral Center through the 34 - 57, the channel of the Power of the individual within Humanity.

Margaret Thatcher is a personification of Sacral, Life Force as personal power, which can be imparted or received into the lives of others. She would appear in her life to be unstoppable in her support and empowerment for the individual. Although she was eventually deemed too outrageous for the (at that time, socialistically-minded) English people, she received great respect and attentiveness in the USA, a nation aligned with Individuality.

The Spleen Center, like the Emotional Center is also a place of awareness, but Splenic awareness is very different than Emotional awareness. The Splenic guidance for Life Force energy generated from the Sacral Center revolves around taking responsibility and upholding (healthy) values, (the 50), and a relating to a potential (healthy) future through intuition (the 57). Healthy values relate to the sustainment of life, and healthy intuitions to the continuity of life. Splenic guidance only works in the present tense; if the moment is lost, so is the impact of the awareness.

The Origins of Splenic awareness

Whereas the nature of the Emotional Center (PLW Article from October) is one of shifting moods, so that emotional awareness is possible only by being clear in one's feelings before engaging one's energy, the nature of the Spleen is instantaneous and deeply rooted in the fear for survival. Through our emotional nature we can access Spirit and the clear knowing that death is an illusion; but through the Spleen there is a very different process of watchfulness.

The Spleen Center is the oldest awareness Center. It is also found in the Designs for mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, plants and insects. Regardless of the origins of consciousness in the human form, during the gestation period of a human infant its body goes through many stages, including different periods of time when it resembles a fish, a reptile and a mammal. Each one of us has within our body a direct linkage to other forms of life on the Earth. Each one of us knows that deep down we are connected into the fear level for our body's survival.

When the Sacral, Life Force energy connects into the Spleen, through the 27 - 50, or the 34 - 57 Channels, it is empowering our health and well-being through a deep watchfulness that is rooted in a fear for survival. Through civilization, slowly, slowly, humanity has been transformed to move away from fear for life by managing herds, crops, transportation, communications, refining weapons for protection, and by promoting arts, health care and an engagement with emotion, feelings and spirit. Electricity, radar and sonar have given us 24 hour a day access to the sight of our world, so we no longer have to fear the dark. Over time, we have been compelling ourselves away from relying solely on fear as our essential guidance. However, when life is apparently threatened, we can instantly fall back into the old prehistoric survival patterns of fear. For the wholistic health of humanity, there needs to be balance between the physical, the mental and the emotional. Yes, physical survival is important but equally important is our intimacy with our world, our neighbors and our Universe. Life Force directed by fear alone is no longer the way.

The Format and Tantric Channels

Between the Sacral and Root Centers, there exist three channels called 'Format Channels' which dictate the way in which Life Force energy will grow in its unfoldment. The unfoldment can take place in one of three ways: a timed cycle of events, a seemingly unpredictable pulse of events, or a carefully matured succession of occurrences. These Format energies are 'blind' in that they set things in motion towards an outcome without any awareness as to whether there is a potential benefit or not. The Format energies provide the push for the expounding of any growth pattern.

In Linda Ronstadt's Design, she has the (unconscious) 42 - 53 Format associated with cycles, which implies that any event in her life is a part of a related sequence of timed events. It is like opening a book and proceeding through all of the chapters, finishing the book, closing it, and moving on to the next book. The characters and players and events of the old book are completed, new characters and events appear in the new book. This means that Linda's life launches her into many different sequences of relationships, phases of work, styles of work, living situations and experiences in her life, and at varying times she completes each particular sequence and moves on to whole new episodes.

There are four channels linking between the Sacral and the Self Centers which are loosely called Tantric Channels. Anyone who has visited the extraordinary Tantric temples of Khajuraho in India will have seen carved into the stonework of the outside of the temple every conceivable, imaginable, fantastical sexual possibility. Once one goes inside the temple, there is a complete absence of sexual innuendoes, and there are places which are sited energetically for spiritual initiation to take place. Many of the arts of the Tantrikas are lost, (suppressed incidentally by the arrival of Islam in India), but the basis of Tantric energy is a transmutation of raw Sacral, Sex, Life Force energy into Superconsciousness. This transmutation can only take place through the harnessing and directing of Sacral, Life Force, Sexual energy.

The four Tantric Channels provide for the unfoldment of Life Force energy through either personal inner conviction (34 - 10), attunement with fixed natural universal rhythms (5 - 15), an apparently sporadic timing attuned to the Higher Self (2 - 14), or a predictable inner growth aligned to 'presence' within the body (29 - 46). Again, as with the Format Channels, there is no intrinsic awareness attached to the unfoldment of Tantric energy, but if the transmutation process is appreciated consciously from within one's being, there exists the possibility of enormous transformation for all who come in contact with that energy.

In Madonna's Design, she has the Tantric energy of apparent sporadic transformational change attuned to her Higher Self (2 - 14). She has access through her total involvement in her Life Force energy to revolutionize her environment and also the environment of everyone who engages with her. We see this in her life by her amazing sense of timing, her unrelenting challenge of sexual morays through outrageous dress and conduct, and the extraordinary 'juiciness' of her performances. Having continuous access to so much transformational Life Force energy can be quite a 'drug,' and it is essential she recognizes that the only directions which are going to eliminate frustration for her are those to which she responds from within her own Sacral Center.

The Channel of Charisma

The Sacral Center connects directly to the Throat Center, the place of articulation and manifestation, through the channel 34 - 20, Charisma, where concepts are instantly enacted. This channel expresses itself: "I am very busy... doing..!" Life Force energy becomes manifest into actions without any intrinsic awareness of outcomes. This is the channel of great busy-ness.

In Hillary Clinton's Design, she has a defined "Charisma" Channel which gives her the ability to move quickly and dramatically with any issue. The experiences of her life have shown her that there are times to act and times to be still. When she waits for a response from her own Sacral Center, she finds instant attunement for whatever issue comes before her and can demonstrate for everyone her enormous sensitivity (yes!), and abilities to provide comprehensive resolution.

When Life Force energy is unleashed and becomes manifest in its purest form, it is a sight to behold. But remember, the 'Charisma' channel lacks intrinsic awareness, it does not always know to where, to whom and to what this energy is being directed.

Here is the key:

Decision Making through the Sacral Response

The Sacral Center has unlimited Life Force energy at its disposal. It is like a Generator that is humming away, ready to let go with an enormous potential, and the moment the energy is unleashed, it becomes an unstoppable power. The Sacral Center has an 'on' switch, but no 'off' switch. Once the energy is let loose, there is no stopping it. So it is important that if you have a defined Sacral Center in your Design, you ONLY unleash its energy when you are ready and clear within yourself to do so!

Sacral energy can be felt in the lower belly. The energy rises up and outwards towards issues or experiences with which it feels a correspondence, and shuts down when it is approached by issues from which it feels disconnected. Life Force has its own intrinsic wisdom about what relates to growth and what does not. Life Force energy makes its wisdom apparent in RESPONSE to issues confronting it. If you have a defined Sacral Center in your Design, when you experience this rising or shutting down of energy within yourself, you know perfectly well what your nature is calling you to, and what it is pulling you away from. If there is a positive response, it may be something for you to engage your unstoppable energy with, if there is a negative response, you might recognize a need to disengage completely.

As we observed in the diagram of channels emanating from the Sacral Center, there is no direct connection between the Sacral and the Mind or the Heart, consequently, what we 'think,' or what we 'want,' need not in any way influence what our Life Force energy is drawing us into. The Sacral Center gives a pure response. This response can also be experienced as a noise from the belly. Affirmations can find a belly response of "Uh-huh!" and the sensation of the belly opening and vibrating. Negations can hear a belly response of "Uh-Uh!" or experience a contraction of energy in the belly (a belly 'tightness.')

The decision-making process is more complex if you have a defined Emotional Center in your Design, along with a defined Sacral Center. Particularly through the Channel of Intimacy, the 59 - 6, what the Sacral response is indicating for you is the present state of your moods. If your emotional wave is 'up' you might easily have a positive response to everything in that moment, and so, the indication is, with a primary response to something, to 'sleep on' the response and see what a secondary response might bring at a later date, corresponding to your mood in that time. In other words, resist the temptation to go with your first 'belly response.' Any chart in which there is a defined Emotional Center, indicating that it is the Design of someone who must follow their feelings in their lifetime, above anything else, the Sacral response indicates a possibility which has to be confirmed through emotional clarity. Wait for that clarity! (Emotional Clarity was the subject of last month's article)

If the Emotional Center is undefined, and the Sacral Center is defined, connected into any other center, a positive, "Yes!" Sacral Response is giving clear instantaneous access to the movement of its Life Force energy. A negative Sacral response is saying: "No!" And this 'no' stands regardless of whatever your mind might try to tell you, or whatever fuss someone else might make. Trusting in your Sacral response gives you complete access to the movement of Life Force energy within you and its relating to your world. If you are a 'Sacral Being' and you attune to your sacral response, you naturally reengage with your mystical journey through life. You cannot know where life is taking you until you respond to what it offers you.

In conclusion

Darkness is an absence of Light. But the opposite is not true. Light is not an absence of Darkness, Light is Light; it envelops darkness, transforming it into light. We are living at the threshold of an age of Light, where darkness is reluctant to be dispersed; for darkness to be transformed, much light is needed. This age is not going to be transformed by changing religions or laws or geography or ethnicity, it transforms through each person being their own self. To be a 'light unto ourself,' we must BE ourself.

If we can accept and fully embrace our presence here, then we are life, love and laughter itself, we are the expanding Universe. If we deny the relevance of our presence here, then we contribute to death, decline and doom. Anyone banking on the idea of sitting on God's knee because they destroy and kill, for whatever so-called reason, is going to find themself in a long line of other idiots who have missed a basic realization.

Life is sacred. It is aligned with the energy and expression of the Sacral Center. If you have a defined Sacral Center in your Design, you are here in this world with an ability to respond to whatever life offers you. It does not work for you to go looking for things to do, but rather it is your responsibility to be ready for whatever life offers, and be true to your response. When you align yourself to your sacral response, the mystery of your life reengages. It is your own mystery, shared exclusively with Existence, because you never know where your life is taking you, until you respond.
