EVERY
2400 YEARS OR SO, THERE IS A DRAMATIC ENERGETIC SHIFT on
the Earth, through what is loosely called the Progression of the
Equinoxes. The shift takes place over several hundred years and
many generations, and we are in the middle of one of these
shifts right now...
One of
the best ways we have for describing the energetic shift relates
to our comprehension of the Astrological signs that are linked
to star fields that appear over our Equator, as a mirror of the
changes we experience on Earth. Geographically, the orbit of the
Earth swings slowly to align more closely with one after the
other of these astrological signs. Presently, we are completing
the Piscean Age and everything to do with it, and making the
gradual shift into the Aquarian Age. The commencement of this
shift probably coincided with the discovery of the Planet
Uranus, the “ruler of Aquarius”, in the year 1781 by William
Herschel.
“Progressions”
from other ages have been documented in various ways; for
instance the culmination of the Taurean Age was heralded by the
“New Age People” overthrowing “Calf-worship” and marking
their doorways with sheep’s blood, as a sign for the entry to
the Arian (Sheep) Age. The entry into the Piscean (Fish) Age was
recognized by “New Age People”, and marked into the
Christian era by signs of a fish.
Whenever
there is a progression of the equinoxes, inevitably there is
upheaval. Some people, the entrenched status quo, are fearfully
attached to the old ways that are departing, and some people,
the “New Agers” are attached to the coming ways that will
“remove” them from the trials associated with the “Old
Age”. Often at the times of these upheavals, messengers, or
Spiritual Masters, are born to herald and attempt to explain
exactly what the changeover means and what opportunities are
arising for a growth in consciousness. Some of these messengers
and Masters are born after the equinox shift to try and align
everyone with the changes that have occurred. Of all the
Spiritual Masters who are born, some, like Gautama the Buddha,
who had a 40 year ministry, have been recognized while they were
alive, but most, like Jesus the Christ who ministered in Judea
for only 3 years, are recognized at some time after they are
gone. In times past, communications have been so poor that news
of Masters did not travel too far.
In
this time of completing the Piscean Age, we are leaving behind
an age of Faith, whether that is faith based in God, No-God,
Money, Religion, Ideology, Nationality, Comparison of “us”
and “them,” “good” and “evil,” or whatever, and we
are moving into the Aquarian Age of Individual Consciousness,
Individual Responsibility, Rationality, Emotional well-being,
Abundance, Spirituality and Godliness. The symbol for Aquarius
is the Water-bearer, the one who takes responsibility for him -
or herself by upholding his/her own consciousness. The glyph for
Aquarius is a pair of synchronized waves... as above, so below.

Osho
Osho, at other times in his life known as Rajneesh and Bhagwan
Shree Rajneesh, was born in India on December 11, 1931. He was
born into the Incarnation of Rulership in which he naturally
holds people’s attention because of his inherent grasp of
knowledge relating to historical perspective, and also his
ability to gracefully take charge in any situation.

With
six defined (activated and colored-in) Centers, he is born with
the Design of a Splenic Projector. Energetically, projectors
need recognition and invitation to be able to engage comfortably
with the world around them. Splenic Projectors recognize in an
instant whether particular invitations appeal to them or not.
Enlightenment
and the Mind
It has been remarked that Osho is the most literate man of all
time. He is responsible as the author for the production of
between 300 and 400 original books in English, most of which
were transcribed from thousands of recorded spontaneous
discourses. No one in the whole history of the world has
anything like so many books to his name. His own personal
reading library contains over 170,000 titles, most of which Osho
has read as an accomplished speed-reader. To our knowledge, no
one has ever come close to reading so many books.
Osho
describes many times in his published books and discourses the
instance of his Enlightenment at the age of twenty-one.

In his Design chart, Osho has a mind defined through the Channel
17 - 62, “Acceptance, the expression of the organizing
mind.” In his Ajna Center he has the Gate 4 in the 5th line
with Jupiter, “the ability to solve issues by being open to
all resources.” He also has Gate 47 in the 4th line,
“Maintaining one’s way in a confused world,” and 6th line
called “Futility : the continuing sense of ‘what’s the
point?’” In the Crown Center, he has Gate 61 in the 1st Line
of “Occult Knowledge, a deep recognition of the inner workings
of life.”
From
his birth, Osho thinks with a mind that on one level knows, and
on another level inquires, and on yet another level recognizes
the futility of mind’s attempts to comprehend life. He studied
and taught philosophy at University and at the age of 19 became
the all-India debating champion. Some countries hold sports and
others hold technology as their highest source of achievement;
India, a land of 2 billion philosophers, holds discussion and
debate as their highest achievement. They have been
philosophizing since the beginning of time. They are the only
nation that has never invaded another, but has rather resorted
to discussion and debate as a means of appealing to intelligence
rather than destructiveness.
So
many people consider Enlightenment and “No-mind” to be the
same thing. They are and yet they are not. Enlightenment is an
ongoing state of being oneself, witnessed as a part of
Existence. “No-mind” is the space of not being attached to
the workings of the mind. In any Design chart where the Ajna
and/or Crown Centers are defined, it indicates that the mind is
constrained to be working constantly. The mind likes to function
as a continuous commentator, not caring whether its comments are
relevant. “No-mind” describes the space of transcending the
mind and being able to pay attention to any thoughts if one
chooses.
The
Talker
During his life, Osho talked at times before single individuals
and at other times before audiences in excess of 50,000 people,
on every conceivable subject under the sun, and then a few. He
traveled throughout India as a guest speaker before audiences
made up exclusively of Hindus, or Muslims, or Christians, or
Sufis, or Jainas, or Buddhists, or Jews, or many others of the
300-odd religions this planet hosts.

He
learned the knack of the great story teller, and found a way to
agree with all religions and their doctrines, and at the same
time point out the folly of being aligned with any religion
whose founder was not even part of that religion. “Buddha”,
he would simply point out, “was not a Buddhist”.
In his
Throat Center, Osho has Gate 62 of “Details” in the 2nd line
of “recognizing the constraints of tradition and logic”.
Osho understood the whole nature of logic and how cultures
become bound by outdated systems like the Indian caste system,
the Western political system, religions and “educational
systems” everywhere. He has the Gate 33 in line 6, expressing
“Disassociation” and the concept of “Let-go”. His talks
always include concepts around realizing and releasing the
presence of accumulated problems through meditation. He also has
the Gate 45 in line 2, as “the Ruler who trusts in the company
he gathers”. For all his life and particularly during the last
20 years of his life, he committed entirely to those who
recognized his message for the new age of human consciousness,
telling them what they needed to hear to help them grow in their
own lives.
But
the talking is just a device. In every talk he addresses the
subject of meditation as the only sure means to know oneself for
oneself, from within. His talks are interspersed with
cliff-hanging silences into which the alert listener can
“drop” to find their inherent stillness and meditation.
The
Survivor
In his Design chart, Osho has a defined Root Center, the Center
of our connectedness to Earth through our stillness and joy, (
meditation and celebration ) or alternatively, if we are
uncomfortable in our life, through stress and the striving to
achieve. The
Root Center is defined to the Spleen Center, our place of
Physical health and well-being through the 18 - 58, the Channel
of Judgment, and insatiability. This particular channel has much
to do with our sense of taste, both in that which we eat and
also that our surroundings are perceived to be ‘tasteful.’
Osho made it clear how much he appreciated simple but elegant
surroundings and never had a problem in accepting the best of
everything, indulging a predilection for Rolls-Royce cars, fine
jewelry and hand-tailored clothing. Apparently, however, for the
last 30 years of his life, his clothing had no pockets, and even
after a 5 year stay in the US, Osho had never seen a dollar
bill.

From
the Spleen Center to the Self Center runs the defined Channel,
57 - 10, Perfected Intuition, the Survivor. Physical health and
survival hinge on an alert presence in the Now. Osho’s
preference was for silence, and in his Design he is able to
remain totally alert provided he attunes to his sense of
acoustic harmony (intuition). During his lifetime, Osho was
threatened by numerous assailants, eventually succumbing, in his
own description, to poison administered while he was illegally
jailed in Oklahoma.
The
Initiator
In Design we consider the Nodes to make an energetic shift that
happens to us at the age of around 40. One lives out the first
part of one’s life in the South Node phase, completing any
patterns established in previous lives, and moves to the North
Node phase as a progression in our potential growth as a soul.
In Osho’s conscious South Node phase, in the 46 Gate, line 5,
he was carefully completing his own comprehension of spiritual
growth through personal meditation and a study of people’s
capacity for their own growth. When his Nodal shift happened,
the 25 Gate line 5 was energized, bringing strong definition to
the Channel 25 - 51, Initiation.
It was at this time in his life that he commenced initiating his
disciples into “sannyas,” the Sanskrit term for the
spiritual seeker.
In his
Design, Osho has the Gate 51 both conscious and unconscious with
Uranus, the Aquarian planet, in the 1st and 4th lines of
“Dramatic transformation”, and “Calling forth the
Spiritual warrior”. The North node in the 25 Gate and 5th
line, is called “Recuperation, The healer with the power of
Spirit to heal and be healed.”
The
wisdom of the undefined Centers
In his Design, Osho has undefined Crown and the Solar
Plexus/Emotional Centers, and an open Sacral Center. Undefined
and open Centers are typically where we take on the conditioning
of the world around us by adopting the behaviors of others who
have those Centers defined in their Designs. When one reaches a
place of inner clarity, particularly through becoming
enlightened, it is possible to recognize all the characteristics
of one’s undefined Centers, and moreover, to reflect back to
others, the wisdom inherent in the nature of those Centers.
Throughout
his discourses, Osho reflected back detailed description of the
workings of the mind and inspirations possible in this world
(The Crown Center). The use to which he put his own mind is
simply staggering and reflected in the books and discourses that
are archived. He described in minutest detail the workings of
Life force energy at play in the Universe (The Sacral Center).
And he chronicled the labors of the emotional body to accept and
adapt to all levels of interrelationships, from Sex to
Superconsciousness.....and for his troubles, was labeled the
“sex guru” by an uncomprehending press, because he insisted
that the emotional body can more easily find release and clarity
through sex, and the emotional intimacy that sex implies, before
it is ready for spiritual growth.
In
conclusion
Osho often remarked that he was living ahead of his time and
that the true impact of his presence on Earth would only become
clear 100 years after his departure. He set in place many of the
standards for communal interaction that will become the norm in
the Aquarian Age. In his three different communes, two in India
and one in the USA, he empowered women to take charge on levels
that had been denied them for millennia, often finding himself
at odds with, but always encouraging their performance and sense
of responsibility. He insisted that women had to rise to their
power in a feminine way and not as competitors to men.
Osho
insisted that he was the “Rich person’s guru” because the
coming ages require wealth to allow each individual space and
time to be spiritual. The age of the begging bowl as a
prerequisite to being spiritual finishes with the Piscean Age.
The collection of 96 Rolls-Royces was a joke, he insisted,
because who can possibly drive more than one car at once...? And
yet, what an obvious way to draw attention in America, a country
obsessed with cars.
Osho
highlighted the fact that the Piscean Age had brought an era of
“faith-based” suffering through religious and political
sectarianism and bigotry. He expounded that the age of war is
coming to an end, and an era of peace is coming... but only
after the religious, political and racial extremists have
examined themselves and their fears, and found the means to love
themselves and all life forms. As an example to the world,
America, he insisted, would show the way in this. It seems that
America has started but still has quite a long way to go!
In his
own manner, Osho wrote his own epitaph, which rests above the
casket containing his ashes, in his commune in Pune, India:
“Never
born, never died, only visited planet Earth.”
Next
month: Hillary Rodham Clinton : Typical politician or World
Leader.
