Marianne
Williamson
IT
IS CLEAR,
that each one of us is offered our share of challenges during
our lifetime. There is no such thing as a "perfect"
lifetime, unless we choose to see continuously every single aspect
of our life as perfect. Every now and again we are given the opportunity
to stop and reflect on what it is we are doing in life and what
it is we seek to fulfill. Many have considered that marriage and
family lead to fulfillment; others have considered that career
and business success is their life cause. Some see that life itself
is its own fulfillment, independent of specific requirements.
What
becomes apparent through an exposure to esoteric devices and in
particular to Design, is that life "happens" to us on
many levels. The most important thing we can do for ourselves
is to be the objective witness of whatever occurs in our life.
There is a tendency for us to take our experiences too seriously,
to become fixed and dogmatic in our dealings with a fleeting life.
We can tell ourselves that Heaven or Hell, or whatever equivalents
we choose to believe, is only available to us in an afterlife,
after we have behaved within certain moral parameters or trusted
in a particular religious icon in this life, and in so doing we
tether ourselves to limited possibilities for our life's experience.
Perhaps
it is possible for us to experience both Hell and Heaven and their
equivalents while we are alive on Earth. Perhaps it is possible
for us to consciously move our witnessing experience towards the
Heaven end-of-the-scale, and away from the Hell end-of-the-scale.
If it is possible to make this conscious choice, it will happen
because of our innate acceptance and our loving trust in whatever
Existence presents to us in life. Acceptance, love and trust are
the essential ingredients for fulfillment in life.
Someone
who has grown consciously within the parameters of her own life
and inspired others to grow within their lives, is Marianne Williamson,
the authoress of "A Return To Love" and other books,
and the renowned teacher of "A Course In Miracles,"
a highly evolved, channeled spiritual perspective. In this article
we look at the design chart for Marianne Williamson to discover
how she recognized her way to grow consciously.
Marianne
Williamson was born on July 8, 1952 in Houston, Texas.
She was born into the incarnation called "penetration"
in which she consciously and unconsciously reaches into many dimensions
of life to experience her truth. People who are born with this
incarnation have a natural ability to read into the motivations
and inclinations, strengths and weaknesses of other people.
Consequently,
they must be very clear within themselves that they do not take
advantage of what they get to "know" about the other
people in their lives.
In
Marianne's Design chart, she has her unconscious Earth, associated
with the genetic inheritance she received from her mother, conjunct
with her conscious and unconscious Neptune in (undefined) Gate
57, which is associated with intuition and the empowerment of
her own personal clarity. She also has her conscious (defined)
Sun, how she shines in her life, conjunct with her conscious Venus
(both defined), symbolizing the relationships one attracts throughout
one's lifetime, in Gate 53, associated with entering onto things
that bring increasing self-knowledge. It would appear from these
aspects of her Design that she would have very powerful and highly
significant interactions with the women in her life and most particularly
with her mother. She may also have found relationship to be a
simple path to self-knowledge. In some ways, Marianne's mother
would have challenged/guided her constantly to trust in her own
perceptions, particularly in spiritual realms.
The
defined centers
Defined Centers (the ones that are colored in on Design
charts) represent what is “fixed,” consistent and
inherent in our nature, regardless of the interactions we might
have with other peoples’ Designs.
A
defined Sacral Center (the red square Center) brings with it a
powerhouse of potential energy that waits to be unleashed into
activity at a moment’s notice. A defined Root Center (the
brown square Center) brings with it the potential for releasing
impulses that in an instant can launch us into action with the
pressure to sustain us in our action.
Marianne has a single definition in the channel 53-42, the "Format
Channel" that relates to a cyclical progression through life.
Marianne will have found that everything in which she has involved
herself has had a specific timing of beginnings, middles and endings.
This will have applied to learning experiences, hobbies, preferences,
avoidances, living situations, projects and all manner of activities
in her life including personal relationships,
There
are three "Format Channels" in the Design chart, and
although physically they appear small on the chart, energetically
they rule almost everything that happens in other parts of the
chart. The particular "Format Channel" that Marianne
has defined in her Design chart relates to a lifetime of commencing,
fully living through and terminating all manner of experiences
that are available on the Earth plane. Inevitably, the more consciously
she enters into experiences, the better the experiences serve
her.
Each
of the "Format Channels" connects from the Root Center
into the Sacral Center, the red square Center, that is also called
the "Generator Center." (In design terms Marianne is
"a Generator.") Generators have an innate guidance system
that is directed from the sacral, life force energy within their
being. Their life force energy directs them in response to everything
that confronts them. This sacral response can be interpreted in
its simplest form as a rising and increasing, or a falling, decreasing
sensation that originates in the lower belly. When the energy
rises and increases in response to something, it is affirming
participation. When the energy falls away, decreases and even
shuts down in response to something, it is denying participation.
What must be understood by all generators is that this is an energetic
response linked to their life force energy; it is not mental,
emotional or fear based, it is purely an energetic response. In
Marianne's case, a clear sacral response opens the doorway for
the beginning of some new cyclical process in her life. When Marianne
became clear in her life about trusting her "gut response,"
the doors of mystery opened, and continue to open wide to receive
her.
A
clear gut response opens Marianne’s natural ability to align
with natural limitations, [Gate 60], attune to helpful allies
of all natures, [Gate 54], recognize and enact spiritual solutions
to temporal problems, [Gate 39], and open up a resounding "yes!"
to following through on whatever beckons her, [Gate 29]. Any Sacral
response that Marianne receives is powered by a “push”
from her defined Root Center.
The
undefined centers
By design, Marianne has seven undefined centers,
implying
that she is naturally empathic in this lifetime. Empathic people
have a great need to keep their auras clean so that they are fresh
at all times to attune to every new instance that life brings
to them. I often recommend to people who have "open designs"
like Marianne has, to make meditation a regular part of their
life and also to practice taking physical space away from other
people regularly. Empathic people have a sensitivity that needs
to be nurtured and nourished. It is not to say that they need
to be antisocial but more that they need to be careful about to
whom they commit themselves and for how long at a time.

An
undefined Spleen Center when it is clear gives Marianne the facility
to be able to diagnose wellness in other people and appreciate
wellness and watchfulness in herself. An undefined Spleen Center
when it is conditioned with the input of other people can make
Marianne unnecessarily
fearful and constrained in her own life and thus make her feel
unable to operate from a sense of personal freedom.
An undefined Emotional Center when it is clear gives Marianne
the facility to direct herself and others into and through fulfilling
and enriching life experiences. An overwhelmed or conditioned,
undefined emotional center can leave Marianne feeling unfulfilled
and stuck in dissatisfying experiences and unresolving partnerships.
An
undefined and clear Heart Center allows Marianne the great gift
of knowing whom to trust with her wishes and directives. An undefined,
striving
or conditioned Heart Center can render her constantly and unnecessarily
trying to prove herself to others.
An
undefined and clear Self Center gives Marianne perfect connection
to her higher self and a level of guidance that is aligned
with the highest integrity that she can make available to other
people. An undefined over stimulated or conditioned sense of self
can constrain Marianne into distractions, obligations and false
trails that take her away from her own journey.
An
undefined Throat Center
when
it is clear gives Marianne access to a great ability as a storyteller
who has a tale for everyone to hear. An undefined, overactive
or conditioned throat Center will encourage Marianne to speak
out in times that are not appropriate for her or her audience,
so that her related experiences will not be effective.
An
undefined Ajna,
mental awareness Center when it is clear gives Marianne the perception
to analyze and find mental resolution for almost any problem or
situation. An undefined overly stimulated or conditioned mental
awareness Center might prompt Marianne to justify anything, right
or wrong, and undertake "rescue missions" for people
who do not merit her efforts, and end up distracting her own purpose
completely.
An
open Crown Center
which
is clear allows Marianne access to a limitless spectra of inspirations.
An overwhelmed or conditioned, open Crown Center can become identified
with single streams of potential inspirations thus limiting the
scope of Marianne's overall perceptions.
In
Conclusion
Each person is perfect in their own way. We are born
into a world to have our experience of life and to use the particular
facilities available to us that are intrinsic to our nature and
Design. In the early years of life we are subjected to the auras
and environments of families, schools and friends and we either
interact from our own intrinsic, “perfect” nature,
or we start taking on the “borrowed” or conditioned
natures of other people.
At the beginning of the article, I suggested that we might make
conscious movement in our lifetime towards the "Heaven end-of-the-scale”
and away from the "Hell end-of-the-scale." Such a movement
is possible when we embrace our own Perfect nature in its entirety
and live according to our Design, and also when we engage with
our life from a place of acceptance, Love and Trust.
It is clear that Marianne Williamson found the way to embrace
her own nature and engage deeply with her life and whatever Existence
has presented to her. Existence does not always like to reveal
her plans to us, especially in these times of the resurgence of
the power of women, but it is clear that Marianne will be a source
of great intelligence and inspiration to many people for many
years to come.
