Religion,
Politics and Tradition:
The Curse of the 21st Century
RELIGION
AND POLITICS
are choking the life out of our planet. They take, at best, a
partial and marginalized view of life and present this as the
dominant issue in all things. If we are going to shake off the
traumas and horrors that these partial views bring with them,
like crusades, holocausts, wars, racism, starvation, poverty and
other divisions in the quality of life on Earth, then religion
and politics have to be rendered into their correct perspective.
To do this, each person on planet Earth must start to move beyond
their superstitions, trust their own wits and stop giving their
power away to “good” or “bad” causes.
Life is not written in “black and white,” it is written
in rainbows of colors, some seen, some unseen. There are commonplace
sayings that can qualify our lives, like: “Seeing is believing,”
“the end justifies the means,” “possession (having)
is 9/10ths of the law,” but there is much, much more to
life.
The Religion Side
If you look closely at any religion, you recognize that it is
built around any number of half truths and handed-down superstitions.
The concept that Jesus was born on Christmas Day is not factually
true. Astronomers have linked the “star in the East”
to a comet that passed through the skies in late September. Christmas
Day is historically a day to honor nature and recognized as the
time, in the northern hemisphere, when the daylight is least and
one’s inner light is potentially greatest. The commonly
postulated understanding that Jesus died on a cross is not true
: horrible though crucifixion is, it is impossible to die in a
Roman-style crucifixion in the space of 6 hours, (Mark’s
gospel, Chapter 15) especially without having your lungs pierced
or legs crushed, (John’s gospel, Chapter 19) two clearly
documented events that did not happen in Jesus’ cruci-fiction.
What actually happened was that when he finally “gave up,”
Jesus became enlightened on the cross and that is a completely
different story rendering the Christian faith in a completely
different light.
The concept that Gautama Buddha was born into the world walking
and talking is not factual because obviously baby bodies are not
given these abilities. In Eastern cultures women often give birth
in a standing position but a newborn is caught and cradled by
midwives and helpers. That people might have thought they heard
Buddha speak as a newborn makes for a nice story but those people
obviously perceived in the light of the birth of a high soul an
understanding that they translated into words for themselves.
In his lifetime, Buddha was crystal clear that he wanted no images
made of himself, instructing his disciples that if they wanted
an image to represent Buddha’s presence then they should
make an image of the “bodhi” tree under which he had
attained enlightenment. For 500 years after Buddha’s passing
there were no such things as “Buddha statues.” Buddha
statues came into being with the travels through the east of Alexander,
called “the Great,” and statues made in his image
were gradually transposed into Buddha statues. Worshipping Buddha
as a man represented in a statue began to supplant Buddha’s
own insistence that all humans conduct a personal search to become
enlightened beings themselves through a recognition of their own
unique ability to find their own truth inside themself.
“Islam,” when translated into English, means Love.
Islam has been the life-code religion of a generally migratory
people for ages. Mohammed, the Islamic prophet, was ruthlessly
clear that no statues, art or images of a divine life form are
allowed in his interpretation of religion, and thus, throughout
the years since Mohammed’s ministry, the world has been
shocked at the destruction of beautiful statues, images, architecture
and literature by extremist Mohammedans. This destruction has
been carried to the dehumanizing extreme of women being forced
to hide their natural beauty from the world since women are blamed
for having a potential to distract men from their acquaintance
with god. From this narrow-minded forced separation of men and
women come many sexual and domestic deviances, misunderstandings
and perversions that plague the Islamic religion and its adherents.
Anyone who has become acquainted with their own cranio-sacral
pulses, pulses of fluid energy that run up and down the spine,
will recognize that the Moslem call-to-prayer 5 times a day is
an opportunity to physically activate these cranio-sacral pulses
and release endorphins into the brain giving one a temporary “high.”
If at the time one experiences a “high” one is instructed
(by an imam or ayatollah) to look for god, or, alternatively go
destroy an infidel with a suicidal bomb, one can easily be persuaded
to follow through with a conditional sense of righteousness to
do so.
The Political Side
Politically, the world has “been run” on a tribal
basis for thousands of years in which a chieftain or king held
the funds, the sway and in many cases, the “divine”
right to command anyone in the kingdom. The king role is still
played out with diminishing effect in various parts of the world,
but presidents quite often are given, or assume the power to play
the part of king while not actually being required to be beholden
to anyone except themself and their own whims and political and
financial interests.
In more recent times, the world has moved towards the “democratic”
system in which a majority vote of 51% of a population is considered
appropriate to elect a government that can ignore and deny the
rights, interests and wishes of the other 49%. Democracy can even,
in some cases, ignore and deny the rights, interests and values
of the whole 100%.......! Democracy is founded in the basic understanding
of “fairness,” “that all men are created equal,”
exercised through diplomacy, debate and logical assessment that
is understood to steer the whole 100% into a better future. However,
one can quickly summarize the distortions and political agendas
that have completely undermined the democratic process in these
times. In due course, democracy will give way to meritocracy,
the principle on which the United Nations has been founded, the
principle that whoever has something good, supportive and worthwhile
to offer is encouraged, and whoever has something, diminishing,
demeaning and destructive to offer is discouraged, leading the
world to a place of applied responsibility.
Loss of Power and Dignity
Whether is be through religion or politics, and many times the
two become inextricably combined, we are each given the opportunity
to give away our own birthright. It is time to have a fresh look
at how we excuse ourselves from our lives, from our own perfectly
good access to truth and how we tend to surrender our power to
liars and lawyers, priests, perverts, pundits and politicians
who live without scruple, moral or responsible intelligence in
these rapidly transforming times.
In this article, we look at the circuits within the Design body
graph and recognize the tendencies we can follow to overly emphasize
religion and politics and how we can allow ourselves to be guided
from within to our own empowerment as a conscious being on planet
Earth.
The “Sensing,” “Religion” Circuitry.
Religion is based in beliefs that in turn are based in historical
reference to what might be deemed “possible” and what
might be considered “miraculous.” Much of belief is
passed down through storytelling either oral or written. In the
West, children are challenged with the story of Santa Claus or
the “tooth fairy,” and are encouraged to expand their
tolerance, excitement and/or condition their behavior if they
wish to be “rewarded.” For those aspiring to adulthood,
one of the principle beliefs that is pushed on individuals is
the question that one either believes in God or not, regardless
of the consideration that one may never have considered such a
dilemma important for oneself.
In Design circuitry, beliefs are passed through the Emotional,
Solar Plexus Center in a way that propels one from a concept of
whether something is possible or not (Gate 41), to having the
desire to have the experience (Gate 30), to having the experience,
somehow, and perhaps feeling a great openness to guilt for having
it (“Is it okay to have these feelings or should they be
denied?”) (Gate 36), to equating for oneself, in retrospect,
whether the experience led to any kind of “progress”
in one’s life or not (Gate 35). This stream of energy has
the potential to be very sexual in nature, and we know how various
religions have messed with people’s natural expressions
of sex...... Certain priests are denied sex, women are not allowed
to be seen let alone flirt, sex is not allowed in times between
various “holy” days, heaven forbid, etc.!!!
From the center of the Design chart, beliefs are activated through
a pressure to commence something, anything (Gate 53) that sets
in motion a (predictable) cycle that is aimed to increase one’s
experience in life (Gate 42). The Sacral Center gives its “life-force”
assent (Gate 29) to promote the experience in a way that brings
achievement and recognition (Gate 46) that in turn brings opportunity
to share telling of experiences (Gate 13) and thus bring resolution,
completion and justification in defining one’s place in
the “scheme of life’s events.” (Gate 33). So
much of our religious background comes from stories with a moral,
based on one kind of experience or other, that directly convinces
us of defined and particular ways of living every facet of our
life more from a basis of superstition than intelligence.
In the mental area, one ponders the unlimited variety of possibilities
in the Universe (Gate 64), decides a course in life that appears
to make sense (this course may be completely ungrounded in anything
factual) (Gate 47), postulates and promotes one’s sentiments
(Gate 11) and tells or acts out what one believes (Gate 56). “All’s
well that ends well,” in that an end can justify its means.
When it is used unconsciously or with attached agendas, particularly
religiously or politically oriented ones, families and whole populations
and generations are crippled with guilt and disempowering half-truths
concerning what they can expect or “be allowed” to
feel about their lives. When this circuitry is accessed consciously,
realms of human experience is accumulated, appreciated and conveyed
into present and new generations as a workable backdrop of what
is worth pursuing in life.
Politics and the Law
As society comes together and attempts to become civilized, laws
are instituted and governmental bodies are formed to promote an
assured future well-being for all. When instances happen that
are seen to cause problems within society, new rules or laws are
enacted by government officers to attempt to ensure that the problems
do not repeat. In its right use, this process provides a self-correcting
mechanism to promote benefits for all. In its wrong use, power
gets to be controlled by vested interests who run agendas which
they tailor to their own personal needs, foregoing society altogether
except in platitudes.
In Design, the circuitry of this logical approach to life passes
through all the same Centers as the “Belief” circuitry,
with one exception......it has no emotional context, but rather
it passes through the Spleen Center which, instead of feelings,
relates to all of our survival fears. Personal (physical) survival
can be the dominant driving force behind anything that comes from
within this circuitry. And so one can see that politics and the
practice of law can become a very nasty business. In its highest
sense, this circuitry is the opening to Self-mastery and statesmanship,
in its lowest form, it is a process of personally justifying anything
(rat races, back-stabbing, betrayal, lying, murder, etc.) in order
to fortify one’s survival.

The “Politics” circuitry is propelled from the Root
Center at the bottom of the chart from a drive to bring joy and
vitality into the world (Gate 58) and moves through a process
of dealing with conditioning brought on by “authority”
figures, particularly those in parental or “uniformed”
guise that involves a necessity to revitalize oneself or one’s
way in order to move forward in one’s life (Gate 18). From
the Spleen to the Throat, there is the containment and/or attunement
to all manner of essential human abilities (Gate 48) that finds
release in expression or critique in its potential to be worthwhile
(Gate 16). Pure expression of Joy and Vitality is a precious quality!
In the Center of the chart, a stillness is available before one
commits (Gate 52) and in that stillness, details of potential
moves/outcomes can be assimilated and sorted (Gate 9). In the
Sacral Center comes the possibility of integrating into right
timing and the rhythm of life (Gate 5) aligned with an attunement
to who will contain the projected developments and how they will
be directed (Gate 15). Leadership comes from an applied understanding
that there are leaders and there are led, and the requirement
of discipline needed for that to take place (Gate 7) so those
with influence can draw everyone together in common cause (Gate
31).
Mentally, logic is founded in doubts and potential disruptions
to smooth future outcomes (Gate 63) and the doubts are handled
(temporarily) one way or other (Gate 4) so that opinions can be
opined (Gate 17) and logical outcomes assured through expression
(sometimes arrogantly, because .... “it is all so obvious,
silly!” ) of what “works” and what does not!
(Gate 62).
Wrong use of the circuitry involves spontaneous leaps that are
not grounded in concerns for the whole but limited to personal
survival issues most likely stemming from a personal sense of
insecurity and inferiority. Much of the misuse of power that is
based in logic surfaces in politics and legalese where indescribably
horrible acts of harm and destruction are explained away by apparently
logical justification.
Right use of the circuitry opens discussion and diplomacy grounded
in a cautious overview of all potential outcomes stemming from
an original course of action that is experimented with over and
over until it operates to serve the best interests of all concerned.
This is a natural course to mastery.
The Family, Heartfelt Circuitry
It is curious to note that neither the “Religion and Belief”
circuitry, nor the “Politics and Law” circuitry have
any connection to the Heart Center and personal will power. Connection
to the Heart Center comes mostly in the family circuit but also
has one link into the Individual’s circuitry.
It is said of the heart that it provides the equivalent energy
in a lifetime to lift the largest ocean liner 50 feet in the air.
Applying will power brings dramatic results in the world and yet,
the heart is the organ most prone to illness in the human physiology,
implying that most people are not acquainted with a right way
to use their willpower. It behooves us all to be very careful
when we declare : “I want.......!” to be sure that
it is an appropriate statement for us in any given moment. The
truth is that most of us have no idea at all what we want in life
until we are offered it and even then are not quite sure we can
have it!
In Design, the Family circuitry is split into two halves that
join at the Heart Center. On the emotional (right) side....a push
to connect into the greater whole, which inevitably leads to a
spiritual search (Gate 19) is accepted or rejected on the basis
of whether its approach is aligned with essential familial feelings
of support (Gate 49). The family/community/congregation has strict
rules of interaction, often in a handshake or a familiar touch
that seals an unspoken bargain (Gate 37) and the community, be
it local or far-flung, is strengthened by the communal commitment
of all its singular members (Gate 40).
On the Splenic/survival (left) side, a push to find those who
can assist one achieve one’s (entrepreneurial) ambitions
(be they materialistic or spiritual) (Gate 54) is tested in its
willingness to undergo transformative and spontaneous change (Gate
32). Cellular memory is applied to watch for and adjust to any
shifts in recognizable patterns in any developments (Gate 44)
so that useful or valuable resources are accumulated (Gate 26).
From the Heart Center, the Family has a single voice at the Throat
Center, that of the King/Queen/ruler who declares whether the
Community or the Entrepreneurs have achieved enough in resources
to make for a healthy, wealthy and happy Family!
In its lowest form, the Family circuitry indulges in cronyism,
nepotism, induced poverty and exclusion practices, including racism
and ridicule. In its highest form, the Family circuitry ensures
that ALL its members are provided for and respected whatever their
status. It is not remotely democratic but rather sees that for
the Family to thrive involves an all-inclusive approach to life.
The “bridge” or what I call “the smile”
that balances the entire body graph between the Splenic and Emotional
Centers is made up of two channels that are very much part and
parcel of the Family circuitry. For consciousness to grow through
human beings, we must practice values which serve all of mankind
(Gate 50) and exhibit caring and trust for each other in a way
that benefits all, (Gate 27) so that our life force can be spread
with (hopefully) increasing consciousness to attract high souls
to incarnate as a result of our intimacies (Gate 59) and bring
balance to our interactions and how we handle our differences,
in a (hopefully) increasingly conscious way (Gate 6).
In its highest form, “the smile” contributes towards
providing the caring we all need so that we feel included as equals
in health and well-being on earth, and allows for the expansion
of population so that there is a space and place for all people.
In its lowest form, the “smile” becomes the “smirk”
and is exploited to provide minimal useful caring (and maximum
profits to “health management organizations”) or no
caring at all in countries where religious stigma counts life
cheaply. Also, “the smirk” is overused to drastically
overpopulate the world, either through plain (complicit) ignorance
that birth control is available and necessary, or through “religion
population programs” that are endorsed by catholicism, hindhuism,
mohammedanism, mormonism, communism and other cults and so-called
“mainstream” religions which are readily vouched for
by politicians.
Individual, Knowing, Empowerment!
In the Individual, Knowing, “Empowerment” circuitry,
all centers are included.......it is all-inclusive. It is neither
“belief-system” oriented, nor is it “law-system”
oriented, nor is it purely “Family-system” oriented.
It is aimed directly towards the empowerment of an individual
to claim their own birthright as a knowing individual, regardless
of whether they have the approval of the other 6 billion people
on the planet or not.! It is in and through the Individual circuitry
that each one of us has the opportunity to transform, break out
of old patterns that may have been in our genetic makeup for countless
generations and move into our present-tense, 21st century reality.
Now!
Everything in the Individual circuitry attunes to and through
acoustics. It is sound, frequency and silence oriented. It can
give us the gift of exact attunement with our environment, launching
us into the silent void of pure knowing that comes when our consciousness
is vibrating synchronistically with Existence.
It does not matter whether we have Gates or Channels in the Individual
circuitry activated in our personal Designs or not because with
the constant movement of people and planetary influences, we are
continuously being offered the opportunity to, in any instant
of time, move ourselves into the empowering freshness of each
moment.
From the Root Center, the Empowerment circuitry branches out in
three directions. Through the Emotional side stems the stream
of energy that provokes the environment to reveal its true nature
to us (Gate 39) that interacts with the extremes of our spirit
nature and our experience of whether we feel abundant or not (Gate
55). Grace, both physical and spiritual, charms our way through
all manner of potential trials (Gate 22) to our experience of
standstill, when all is revealed to us, if we choose to acknowledge
this (Gate 12).
Through the Splenic side of Individuality, stems our inner drive
to be in combat with our environment, to take on the challenge
of life itself (Gate 38) that is appreciated or dismissed for
lacking the quality outcomes in life we consider that merit our
attention (Gate 28). Our acoustically powerful intuition cuts
through all other perceptions (Gate 57) to bring us in a flash,
to a space to pause and appreciate our instantaneous environment
(Gate 20).
From the Root Center, up the middle of the chart stems the stream
commencing in the old genetic strains that carry all the information
gleaned throughout time from the beginning of human consciousness
(Gate 60) that are transmuted, often dramatically into novel form
(Gate 3). Our skills at manipulating our environment and its contents
(Gate 14) are directed into their potentially highest outcomes
(Gate 2), allowing us to take on the natural expansion of the
Universe through our own creativity (Gate 1) that is directed
and arranged for it highest conceivable merit (Gate 8).
In the Crown Center, at the top of the chart, our access to Inner
Truth and the highest potential of the mind to connect with the
unknown (Gate 61) is painstakingly streamed and rationalized into
mental though forms (Gate 24) to transmute into insight and evolution
from old constraints and thought forms (Gate 43) that gives expression
through words that are also sounds opening the acoustic realms
to bring new knowing into life. (Gate 23). Inevitably, transforming
highest potential into plain language is almost impossible since
truth cannot be expressed in words, however, this stream of expression
can lead a listener to a place of inner recognition, silence and
knowing.
In the middle of the chart, on the left (Splenic) side, the Individual
circuitry runs through four other Gateways. From the Spleen, (Gate
57) into the Sacral Center comes the connection with Gate 34,
the power to stand in one’s own truth and be powerful as
an individual human being; Gate 10, carries the ability to give
of oneself, according to one’s own individual merits, an
accordance to all the situations that life brings to us.
From the Self Center, our place of direction, purpose and inter
relatedness in life, comes the connection from Gate 25, our place
of selfless and potentially realized, innocence, that we are just
a part of the great miracle of life, to Gate 51, the connection
into the Heart, Willpower, Family Center, that launches us into
an appreciation of our singular nature, apart from, but also akin
to, all consciousness in human form. Through this connection,
from Gate 51 to Gate 25, from the “Family” Center
to the Self Center, comes the potential for us each to evolve
out of what we can perceive as a purely material, existential
existence into a true accord with our self, at home in the Universe.
Wrong use of the Individuality circuitry estranges us from the
world of reality causing indifference to the “Religious-Political-Family”
way of seeing things, because they all can appear nonsensical
and personally disempowering. Right use of the Individual circuitry
can empower anyone to appreciate and take on positive, creative
and dramatic breakthroughs in human potential.
In Conclusion
There are no “tried and true” means to live our lives
except to allow ourselves to be ourselves in all aspects and at
all times within our lifetime. It takes great courage to be an
individual who takes complete responsibility for everything he
or she engages with in their lifetime.
Each one of us has our own way to “God,” “Nirvana,”
“Firdosh,” “Enlightenment,” “Realization,”
or whatever we might choose to call it. The way is well trodden
by those who have gone before. But we must each appreciate that
we have to make the journey alone. It is not about launching oneself
in a mass or a congregation, it is about us being true to our
own precious, personal nature.
It may have seemed as though I have been unduly harsh in commenting
on religions, politics, the law and the family. Each of the circuits
of energy I have ascribed to these ways of life can bring us forward
in our comprehension of the various dimensions of life, or take
us backwards in our consciousness and appreciation of what our
true potential is here on earth, but they cannot empower us directly.
This empowerment comes only when we allow ourselves to be open
to our own source of truth.
At this time, in this juncture, we urgently need to cast off and
let go many of the shackles, chains and insupportable burdens
to which belief, logic and family-tradition-oriented systems condemn
us. This is not a call to revolution in the traditional sense
but it is a call to an inner revolution that will naturally bring
great healing to a planet that is suffering under our present
ways.
The moment one person aligns within their own truth, it creates
a ripple effect that spreads, vibrationally, into the lives of
all others. We each have within us the potential to live an awakened
life, to follow our own inner guidance, and trust in the spirit
within us. Let us all be open to allowing our truth in all that
we live, so that the whole world can rejoice with us.
