WITH THE PASSING OF Karol Wojtyla, (also known as Pope John Paul 2, Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Christ, Successor of St. Peter, Prince of Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Patriarch of the West, Primate of Italy, Sovereign of Vatican City), it is my heartfelt and great delight to proclaim the imminent demise of the Roman Catholic Church. This demise is in synchronistic alliance with the departure of other Christian and Islamic sects and variant faith-based belief systems. The age of faith, that allows credibility in the idea that we are going to be "rescued" by anyone or anything other than our own application of personal consciousness, is over.

For anyone who has an attachment to faith-based organizations, whether of a religious, military, political, “educational” or financial type, it is time to stop... draw a deep breath and take a fresh look at exactly why there is an attraction to be “directed” and controlled from a supposed knowledge source that resides outside of yourself. Stop and consider for a moment: do you really think that a GW Bush or a Pope Benedict XVI (affectionately known as "Papa Ratzi" in the British press) knows or cares more about your life and soul’s essence than you do? How could such a thing be possible? Both of these people are elected to their office by strange, politically-based, supposedly democratic means, hardly on the basis of their courage, intelligence or godliness... and suddenly they become omniscient, omnipotent and unable to be a common human any more? Does that mean they have a divine right in this life that supersedes anyone else's? Are they more important to Existence than you or I or someone living in a mud hut in Java?

A brief history
Christianity or, “Crossianity,” was invented about 270 years after the departure from Israel/Palestine of Jesus the Christ, at a gathering in what is now called Istanbul but in those days was called Constantinople and which was at the time a part of the Roman Empire, ruled over by the Emperor Constantine. As time progressed, part of this "new" church went to Rome to become the "Roman" Catholic church, and a part of it became what is loosely called the "Orthodox" Christian church that went into Greece, Russia, Ethiopia, Syria, Turkey and other places. Both of these sects have had various disagreements with each other over the ages relating to beliefs and politics and are, these days, quietly trying to settle their differences.

The Roman church, through the remains of the Roman Empire, moved into Europe, displacing and absorbing all sorts of nature-based, "pagan," feminine-Earth-centered religions, and thence moved into South and Central America and the Philippines, decimating local cultures and bringing massacre to those lands "in the name of God!"

The European Catholics under Pope Gregory 9th invented the Inquisition and allowed in-trial torture as a supposedly respectable way to remove powerful women and men whose intelligence would not allow them to be cowed by a control system that was based on interpretations of a varied collection of old stories from the middle East. Somewhere along the way, around 900 years ago, priests were banned from marrying women, thus opening the door for homosexuality and priests preying on small boys. At another time, thanks to fishermen who were having a tough time selling their fish, everyone “of faith” had to eat fish on Fridays, by papal decree.

A German scholar, Martin Luther, exploited foundational issues in the Roman version of the Christian religion and its exclusivity, inherent politics and money-grabbing to start his own version of Christianity called Protestantism, because it "protested the Roman version!" Luther translated a version of the Bible from Greek into German so its text became available to all people who could read a “modern” language. King Henry 8th in England, fed up with his childless wife and needing divorce and a new royal bedmate, broke with the Roman church (and his wife) and started his own version of a Christian church declaring himself as "defender of the faith." King James 1st in England, a Scottish Roman Catholic, gathered together a group of scholars and wrote up a Bible which is generally accepted as "gospel" despite thousands of mis-translations, and Prayer Books which are commonly found throughout the Christian world as the “official” means to invoke God. Various Victorians wrote hymns and set them to music that could be played on church organs and which are sung throughout the world to this day.

The church further fragmented into Adventists, Mormons, Witnesses, Shakers, Quakers, Televangicals and thousands of sects and schisms as various visionaries and discontents expounded their concepts of what they perceived Christianity to be.......and now, nearly 2000 years after the life and times of Jesus, the Christ, the entire Christian religion as we know it, is about to disintegrate. The disintegration will be most obvious in Rome but will persist throughout Christian realms and synchronize with the collapse of Mohammedanism and other religions. As the age of faith-based religion passes, the age of spirituality as a natural, fearless, loving, creative individual’s way of life approaches.

In this article we focus on the charts of two Popes and the timing of their departures and arrivals on the world and Vatican stages.

John Paul 2 was born in Wadowice, Poland on May 18, 1920 into the Incarnation of Transference. Those who are born into this Incarnation identify with various personally meaningful experiences of their own life and expound those experiences, sometimes as indisputable fact, into the lives of others. Within JP's unconscious, there is a potential fixation to confusedly enforce experiences on others, often without any personal appreciation for the effect these experiences might have on others. (Unconscious Sun and Earth, the genetic influences of Father and Mother in Gate 30, line 6, and Gate 29, line 6).

A man of great expressible love (Unconscious Mercury in Gate 37, line 5) and appreciation of those who might recognize his individual and sometimes bizarre ways (Defined channels, 43 - 23 with unconscious Nodes; 8 - 1, with conscious Sun and North Node; 2 - 14 between Conscious South Node, Mercury & Venus and conscious Earth), he held an unconscious inclination to cast out those who did not unquestionably follow his specific wishes (Unconscious Saturn in Gate 40, line 4) or meet his approval (Unconscious Moon in Gate 49, line 4).

Potentially deeply spiritual, with many activations in transformative, Individual Gates in his Design chart, he also had the means to access a deeper level of religiousness than the Roman Catholic church might allow him to expound. Having been channeled solely towards Roman Catholicism as his only potential religious expression during his formative years (he was not going to be allowed by his father or society to follow Judaism) as a means to pursue his own spiritual quest, it would have been almost impossible for him to acknowledge or to follow a much deeper experience than the precepts of that religion permitted. He held the means to access past lives (the knowledge of which was removed from Christian theology in the Middle Ages) with his conscious Jupiter in Gate 33, line 4, but had to hold the now-traditional dictate, that controls all “good” or “bad” Christians, namely, that if behavior is not considered good by Saint Peter when you arrive at the Pearly Gates and he reads his little book, then hellfire and brimstone, for eternity, is the only possible outcome! No escape!

It remains a complete mystery how a man who is not allowed to have sex or engage in procreation can have any input whatsoever on the subject of birth control or abortion. So, even though Pope John Paul 2 was a very sensual man, (with activations by unconscious Mercury in Gate 37, line 5; Unconscious Moon in Gate 49, line 4; unconscious Sun in Gate 30, line 6), his means of expressing his sensuality was limited to handshakes and patting people in the head.

The passing of John Paul 2 and the rapid accession of Benedict 16
The significance of the timing of passing of John Paul 2nd is that it took place during the rigid Incarnation/Disincarnation theme of “Strategy and Control,” a theme that is in effect for two hours only out of every year, indicating that John Paul 2’s exit was timed exactly to allow for a controlled conclusion and that power and control might be maintained at that time of changeover. Benedict 16th’s accession took place very quickly thereafter during the Incarnation theme of “the Laws,” an Incarnation theme that in normal terms allows for a positive restructuring through a bright display of progressive transformation, but with an intuitive look at the exact placement of the Sun and Earth along with certain attributes within the Design chart itself, there are indications of a great potential for collapse and estrangement within the new setup for the Roman catholic church.

In the Design chart for the demise of Pope John Paul 2, there exists the “format” energy relating to Cycles (Channel 53 - 42) and the presence of a natural conclusion so that a new beginning can take place.

In the accession chart of Pope Benedict 16th, the Cyclical format is replaced by the Mutative format (Channel 60 - 3), indicating that there is likely to be a radical change towards rigidity in the way the Roman Catholic church handles itself under Pope Benedict 16.

Transformation?

In both charts, there is definition in the channel of transformation (54 - 32) that in a personal chart would indicate a drive towards achievement through the unconscious use of ambition or aspiration. In Pope Benedict 16th’s birth chart, this channel, 54 - 32, is defined in lines that indicate someone who is extraordinarily picky in regards to whom and what he is prepared to trust. He can be remarkably conservative in all aspects of his life. In the chart of the demise of John Paul 2nd, the lines within this channel of transformation indicate a moment of great poignancy and the ending of an era of significance and the opening to a future at odds with its past. In the accession of Pope Benedict 16th’s chart, the lines in this particular channel indicate the potential for collapse through an adherence to a sense of entitlement (as there being only one “right” way of seeing things) and quickly moving erratically further out of touch away from those who can engage in a supporting role. Church rules and congregation needs are likely to inhabit two separate realities! As a side note, the more fixed Pope Benedict 16th becomes/remains, the more quickly will he become physically ill.

A newly compassionate church?
The Incarnation theme of the accession of Pope Benedict 16th also has definition in the channel of Caring (50 - 27) , which on the face of things could indicate the arrival of a new era of a compassionate church. However, the lines in this defined channel indicate quite the opposite. Gate 50, line 2, in the South node (immediate timing) placement indicates a situation where opportunities to express essential values are lost through poor timing and lack of awareness of what is meaningful in this time; Gate 50, line 4 activated with conscious Earth is called “corruption,” and reflects a situation that if the church’s affairs are not handled skillfully in this new era, everything will be lost. On the other end of the channel, Gate 27 is activated by conscious Venus in line 3, carrying the energy of the coming ten years being filled with an overindulgence of needless reforms and value-structures.

Further up the chart, the channels 17 - 62, the expression of logical organization, and 11 - 56, the expanding of beliefs, are activated, giving an overall presentation, or face, that everything is in order. But just as the pedophile priests have been exposed in the past ten years, so will the church be overtaken by routine denial of a need to transform to the needs of its worldwide congregation. Pluto, transiting through Gate 11, peace and workable beliefs for the next 2 years followed by a transit through Gate 10, (behaviors that ensure personal needs are met) will shake conservative values, popes and priests to their roots.

In Conclusion
Times change, and as in the past, great empires and institutions come and go. The message of Christ is clear, as is the message of Mohammed and the message of Buddha and the message of all Enlightened Ones. Love is the way. Love is an inside job. When you experience love, who is the one feeling it?

As we all surely move through self-acceptance towards self-love, we find our love pouring over into the lives of all around us. The world is tired of wars and despots, politicians and overly-knowledgeable priests. It is the time of the individual who loves himself, his life and his world. The Roman Catholic church, along with all such institutions has had its say and has had its day. It is time for it to quietly disappear so that its congregants can be empowered to find their own way towards the truth that they have forgotten. The Catholic church disempowers everyone by insisting they we are all “born in sin.” When the word “sin” is properly understood, it means “forgetfulness.” We have forgotten who we are and the light, love, laughter and connection to all that is as our nature. We no longer need any kind of misdirection and guilts. We are free again!
